As a passionate individual, I thrive in an environment that enables and values continual learning. Highly motivated by a sense of achievement; I seek challenges through engineering science, personal growth, and training for sport. Engineering provides a context within which I can further develop my understanding of the physical and digital worlds, approach complex problems with my practical mindset, and work as part of a team. I have experience in all research and design stages, ranging from large-scale projects to the nuances of data and physics-driven algorithms and mathematical modelling.

Master’s Thesis
  • Designed, programmed, and constructed an electro-mechanical control system to implement genetic programming for active flow control experiments in a wind tunnel.
  • Identified novel phenomena caused by upstream effects of actuation and presented a in-depth analysis which identified the underlying physical mechanism and informed fundamentally accepted wake flow models within the current literature.
Teaching Assistant
  • Designed, constructed, and authored a new undergraduate laboratory in aerodynamics to study airfoil design and the effects of angle of attack on lift and drag.
  • Nominated for Teaching Assistant Excellence Award (December 2018).
